I am a naturopathic physician. I received my naturopathic degree from Bastyr University in 2006 after completing my undergraduate degree in nutrition from The University of Arizona. I also have a background in personal training, a master’s level in Reiki, and have continued education in the areas of Ayurveda and IV nutritional therapy. These professional endeavors reflect my belief that in order to achieve health one must be fit in mind, body and spirit.
I use both alternative and conventional medical tools to assess, diagnose and treat chronic or acute disease. For example, I will use herbs and physical medicine for the common cold or flu, but if such a situation arises that require further treatments, I will also prescribe antibiotics.
Additionally, I practice primary health care, which includes screening procedures such as annual exams, sports physical exams, basic eye exams, blood sugar and cholesterol checks, just to name a few.
